The Winners Have Been Picked!

Yes, that’s right! Do you remember this competition we ran? The one about getting your face into a game? Well here are the winners!

What was the plan?

Here at Tinkerbot Games we’re currently on the earliest stages of artwork with our artist Tyler Johnson for our board game Ghostel. We’re going to have a Kickstarter backer level which allows backers to be turned into character cards in the game.

We’d already done examples with Bevan, Me (Gino) and Tony, see below!

So those are the Tinkerbots, what about the winners?

We were overwhelmed with the popularity of the contest and it’s taken us quite some time to decide on the winners. Seriously, this was way more difficult than we thought it would be, the entries were amazing. (Except the two naked dudes, that was a shock…)

We went through every single entry and each of us (Me, Bevan and Tony) made our own shortlists, then we compared lists and cut it down to the winners. Tears were shed, blood was spilled (sorry Tony), it was very emotional.

But eventually winners were picked and here they are!

1. Leandra Large!

Lee is part of the brilliant Happy Mitten Games team and we loved her terrified face!

2. Alicia Chang!

It’s hard not to have a scared face when a zombie is bearing down on you like this, and you have no shotgun!

3. Tyler Anderson

Wait a second, #3? Yeah, so we couldn’t cut it down to just two winners so we rummaged down the back of the sofa and found enough cash to get a third picture from our artist and who could blame us? Tyler’s picture still makes me laugh every time I look at it. Check out his board game reviews at the Bearded Meeple.

So there we have it! Thanks for taking a look. We’d love to hear any feedback you have or if you’d like to keep an eye on how Ghostel progresses you can check out our page about it, subscribe on BoardGameGeek or register for our newsletter if you haven’t already. We’re currently finalising our rulebook so you’ll be able to take a look at it soon!

If you didn’t win, we’re sorry but we’ll be running more competitions in future so stay tuned and try not to flip any tables in rage.

Finally, contact us using one of the links below and tell us what you think!

Unless you’re those two naked guys. Please don’t send any more photos…

Cheers!

Gino.
